The OD&D Armour Generator

and protective gear using the modified Dungeons & Dragons rules as
presented at: http://dnd.welshpiper.com/gear/armour.php

Please take a moment to read our enclosed License Agreement
(license.txt). Thank you.

***REQUIREMENTS***

At present and unless otherwise noted, this software is written for and
designed to run on personal computers running Windows 95 or greater; it
has been successfully executed and tested on Windows 98SE, Windows ME,
Windows 2000, and Windows XP Pro. Most, if not all, standard hardware
configurations sufficient to run a version of Windows listed above are
sufficient to run this software.

Before proceeding with the installation instructions, please ensure that
the following, additional requirements are met:

1. You have obtained and installed a utility capable of unzipping files
in the ZIP format. We suggest WinZip, from WinZip Computing, Inc.

2. Your system has the appropriate Visual Basic runtime libraries
installed. Systems running Windows 98SE or greater likely include
these libraries already. If your system is running Windows 95 or if
you receive any runtime errors during program execution, please
obtain and install the VB 6.0 Runtime Libraries from Microsoft.

***INSTALLATION***

At present, there is no SETUP program for this software (because,
honestly, the size of a full install program is significantly more than
the size of the core executable and support files--we're trying to be
friendly to our dial-up connection friends). Instead, the software may
be installed manually as follows:

1. Unzip the ZIP file; if you enable the "-d" or "Use Folder Names"
option, the archive unzips to "%DRIVE:%\%PATH%\TWP\ArmourGen\" where
%DRIVE:% and %PATH% are the drive letter and path name you specify.
For example, in "C:\Program Files\", "C:\" is equal to %DRIVE:% and
"Program Files\" is equal to %PATH%.

2. The OD&D Armour Generator may be run from the installation folder or
through a shortcut on the desktop or in a Start Menu program group
    you create.

***SUPPORT***

In the unlikely event that you experience problems with this software,
we recommend the following course of action:

1. Make sure that your system is equipped with the software and
components cited in our REQUIREMENTS section, above.

2. Check the online Help file, under "Errors."

If neither of these correct the problem, you may e-mail The Welsh Piper
LLC for support at:
